UGH with Roger Limb, Francis Gryspeerdt & Audrey Stokes

This evening we went to The Europa in East Molesey to see the Urban Gin House Band. The line-up comprised Alan Brock (trumpet, vocals), Fancis Gryspeerdt (tenor sax, alto sax), Roger Limb (keyboard), Mike Bennett (bass) and Eddie Kettle (drums). Our favourite numbers with these musicians (pictured) were:
'Anonymous Blues', 'Georgia on my Mind' and 'Body and Soul'.
Guests were:
John Shepherd (trumpet) and Roy Stokes (trombone) playing 'I Cover the Waterfront', then with Audrey Stokes (pictured) singing 'Pennies From Heaven' and 'Deed I Do';
Fred Shaw (cornet), Roy Stokes (trombone) and Roland (tenor sax), playing something of which I missed the title and 'Ain't Misbehaving'';
Peter Tallent (trombone), playing 'If I had You' and 'Bye Bye Blackbird'.
Colin Lewry played keyboard in the breaks.
Selina was the centre of attention after the arrival of Dave, an admirer of her fabulous legs. Years ago he expressed a wish to see her in electric blue tights but it was only on Saturday that I spotted them in Boots the Chemist and bought two pairs. Tonight was their first outing, one knee visible in the picture. Unusually, Dave arrived, requesting Selina to stand up and show off legs and tights. Later when Dave was stroking Selina's hair, the woman on my left said "What's she got that I haven't". There was no answer to that.
